This Privacy Policy explains how Ignyte ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service at ignytes.today (the "Service").

  • Account data: name, email, password (hashed), and optional profile fields you provide (role, skills, idea description).
  • Content you create: pitches, traction metrics, messages, posts, team data, and any other content you upload.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, IP address, browser, device, and approximate location.
  • Cookies: session cookies for authentication and analytics. See our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use it

  • To provide and operate the Service.
  • To send transactional emails (verification, password resets, notifications).
  • To improve features and detect abuse.
  • To match you with co-founders or community members when you opt in.

3. AI processing

Some features (Investor Sim, AI Advisor, Idea Lab, Pitch Builder) send the content you provide to third-party AI models for processing. Do not submit information you would not want processed by an AI provider.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

  • Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) under data-processing agreements.
  • AI providers, strictly to fulfill your requests.
  • Authorities when legally required.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings; we will delete personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

6. Your rights
