Community Guidelines

The Ignyte community exists for one reason: to help founders ship faster. These rules keep it that way. By posting, commenting, or messaging in the community, you agree to follow them.

1. Be useful to other founders

  • Ask real questions. Share real wins and real failures.
  • Give specific, actionable answers — not platitudes.
  • Assume good intent. Disagree with ideas, not people.

2. No spam, no drive-by promotion

  • Don't post your product link without context. Sharing what you built while asking for feedback is fine; cold pitches are not.
  • No affiliate links, no growth-hack chains, no "DM me to learn more."
  • One account per person. No sockpuppets to upvote your own posts.

3. Respect privacy and confidentiality

  • Don't share other founders' pitch decks, metrics, or private messages without their explicit permission.
  • Don't post screenshots of someone's account, email, or DM without redacting personal info.
  • NDA-covered information stays out of the community.

4. AI answers are suggestions, not advice

The "AI Answer" button uses an LLM. Treat its output as a starting point — not legal, financial, tax, medical, or investment advice. Verify before you act on anything that matters.

5. No harmful or illegal content

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or targeted attacks.
  • No sexual content, gore, or content that exploits minors.
  • No promotion of fraud, scams, pyramid schemes, or illegal activity.
  • No IP infringement — don't post code, designs, or copy that aren't yours to share.

6. Keep it on-topic

The community is for founders building startups. Use the tags (#fundraising, #growth, #product, #hiring, #general). Off-topic political, religious, or unrelated posts will be removed.

7. Moderation and enforcement

  • You can delete your own posts and comments anytime.
  • We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines, with or without warning.
  • Repeated or severe violations result in a permanent ban — paid subscriptions are not refunded for bans caused by guideline violations.

8. Reporting

See something that breaks these rules? Email hello@ignytes.today with a link to the post. We review every report.

9. Changes

We may update these guidelines as the community grows. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version.
