Hi — I'm the solo founder behind Ignyte. I'm building it from a small apartment in Helsinki, shipping every single week, with no team, no funding, and no permission to do this except the kind I gave myself.
I started Ignyte because I kept watching the same thing happen. Smart, scrappy founders — designers, developers, marketers — would have a real skill, real time, and real ambition. But they would spend their first 6 months on the wrong things: picking logos, reading Hacker News, building ideas nobody asked for. Then they'd burn out and quit.
The fundamental problem: solo founders don't have a co-founder to argue with at 2am. No one to say "that idea is dumb," or "ship the ugly version," or "this customer just told you exactly what to build — go build it." So Ignyte became my answer to that.
It's a workspace that does the things a good co-founder would do: surface real complaints from real humans on Reddit, HN and GitHub so you stop guessing. Pressure-test your pitch like a brutal VC. Track your traction so you know what actually matters this week. And introduce you to other founders who have the skills you don't.
People ask why I haven't raised or hired. Honestly? Because the founders I'm building for don't have those things either, and I want to feel exactly what they feel. Every constraint they have, I have. Every shortcut I find, they get. That's the deal.
Ignyte is for founders who would rather ship one ugly thing per week than discuss the perfect feature for six months. If that's you — we'll get along.
